Hi, quite new to this so I don't really know how it works and if anyone has posted something similar to this but I'm meant to be starting uni in september but due to illness I missed about 3 exams so I was hoping to take a gap year and do those exams in january. So during my year out I need to find some legal work experience because I want to do law and its very competitive so I thought I'd make the best of a bad situation. I'm hoping that somebody here knows of what sorts of jobs I could apply for, or where to look for them. I'm really struggling because I have no legal or office experience and no contacts of anyone who works in the legal sector. I've been told to do the ilex courses instead but I'd rather wait until next year to start uni because I would ideally like to be a barrister. If it helps I live in greater manchester and I've studied Psychology, sociology and philosophy.
Thanks for reading this and for any advice you might have
