You're joking, right?

Beautiful is Audrey Hepburn, Juilette Binoche, Anna Karina and Brigitte Bardot. Examples of hot women would be Angelina Jolie, Jessica Alba, Megan Fox (not my personal taste, though she's considered hot by many), etc.

Whilst I'd bang the above mentioned 'hot' women like a screen door in a hurricane, I'd be willing to serve the likes of Hepburn and Karina breakfast in bed, give them foot massages, and hold hands in public.

There is a massive difference.

so you like grandmothers?

(I personally believe Jolie and Megan Fox are rather ugly, but that's besides the point.)

I don't think I understand. So you wouldn't be willing to serve Jessica Alba breakfast in bed, give her a foot massage, and hold her hand in public?

Why ever not?

There is a bit of difference. But you can get them both in one person.

Anyone get that?

I was being facetious concerning the foot massage and whatnot, though I'm sure you get my point. Hot could be simplistically defined as projecting an image of enticing promiscuity; a sign, subtle, or not-so-subtle, that a woman is sexually ferocious, which in turn, inspires that amorousness in men. Conversely, beautiful would be a purer, more chaste image, which is rarely seen amongst the majority. Truly beautiful women are very rare, and when you see them, you can't help but collect your jaw off the floor.

I don't doubt that. I was simply disagreeing with snowyowl's post which stated that hot and beautiful rarely exist without each other. In fact, the opposite is true.

That said, yes, Megan Fox is indeed quite disgusting. Many men find her incredibly hot, which is why I included her amongst the bunch.

So a woman who gives off a sign that she is "sexually ferocious" can be hot? Regardless of her appearance - ie. without needing to be beautiful?

I'm not trying to argue with you, I just want to understand.

Why would it be an achievement? It's not like she discovered a cure for cancer or graduated from Uni...

some people may find it to be liberating in other cultures . . . . liberating ones self from the shackles of a conservative and strict society may be seen as an achievement by some.

Sorry, I missed out a vital detail in that previous post. The qualifier to that being that the woman in question is at least somewhat attractive. I realise attraction is entirely subjective, though certain women, looks, styles and whatnot are considered hot, and many actions are also considered hot, too. Modus ponens.

I don't think it's an achievement, it's just a thing.. :beard:

Although she's a 'white indian' - as in she has the pale indian complexion which is seen as more attractive in India, still a good thing to have more multi-culturalism.

If anyone's 'offended' by a woman appearing in a porn mag because she's of the same race as them.. they need to take a bloody reality check

Please tell me how a naked woman represents any kind of 'culture'.

Why should we assume everyone wanting to be like Paris Hilton or appear in glossy magazines is a sign of progress ?

Nudity and Sex existed in the Dark ages as well.

If she wants to appear nude fine, but she should not portray it as breaking new ground or seek to encourage other indians that hey lets all do this so people will think we are 'modern'

Did I say anything regarding culture? No...?

The more poly-racial it is, the better, obviously

So, via appearing nude, you know, showing your 'goods' on playboy, which is of course a magazine that shows other women nude as well, is how you show that you're liberated? Not via freedom of education; freedom of forming owns intellectual discussion and opinions; but, by being nude on a magazine.

Ok, then.

some may see it as liberating given the soceity and culture she comes from - very conservative and strict (by our standards). Her society already has education, intellectual discussions/platforms etc so wouldn't really be a new achievement for her in this place (as millions have already done this) . . . . showing her tities and minge in playboy may be seen as "dishonourable" by many indians but it will also be seen by many to be an achievment of breaking social barriers in a traditionally conservative, religous and somewhat rigid country . . . it is part of the process of india becoming a developed nation.
Why do women want to have fun time with Hugh Hefner, he's old and..nasty

How so that posing nude on a magazine qualifies India as becoming a developed nation? Ironically, even the 'developed' nations, some parts of their society of course, seem to look down on those posing nude in <something>.

In my strictest opinion, there are so many other things you could do to 'brake something' and I don't think posing nude in a magazine is one of them; it's not even hard to be frank - anyone can do it.

Indeed anyone can do it! And yet this lady in 2012 is the first one to do it. Are indians shy, highly religous or is it that it is something which is not allowed in their culture. She is breaking this particular barrier in indian society and that in itself can be seen as an achievement (not the actual act of exposing her tits and minge!)
