At the end of the AS level (and start of A2), there's gonna be some field work which involves using quadrats, measuring, samples, etc.
I've heard it's a waste of time by many people -- but is it needed in order to do biology at A2 level? My old bio teacher said you weren't allowed to do it if you didn't go on the trip, but I've also heard some people not going on it but continued with bio for A2. Does anyone know? (I'm asking because it's likely I won't be available on the selected dates).
All opinions appreciated! Thanks.
