No, Barney hasn't met his sister.
And Ted dates the mother's roommate for one episode - the 100th episode of the show, actually. She turns out to be bisexual (or a lesbian, it's never really stated).
And uhh, kind of? We see in 7.17 a clip of Ted telling the mother he loves her while they're both out in the rain, and she has her yellow umbrella with her. You only see her back, though.
Season 8 starts in a few weeks!!!!

I only watch on e4 but thinking if I can get it on netflix or something(don't want to torrent) then I will. Favourite episode probably seen is the playbook episode. Had me in stitches. They all make me lol even when I'm by myself which almost never happens.

Yeah, that's what I thought as well
I was on a flight back from New York yesterday. And for the first time ever after a friend recommended this, I watched two episodes. One where Barney dated some very hot black haired girl, and another where Barney made his friend eat an exploding meatball sub. Very funny, I may watch more. Barney is great! And the girl from American Pie is always very funny!
