Thanks buddy, yeah I am getting along fine. It is easier for me though because I have the rather unfair combination of both attractiveness and talent, but don't let that get you down because as I said, plenty of people like yourself (I assume) do well too.

You do realise you're also discriminating against 'ugly people' by calling them 'ugly'. In my opinion there's no such thing as an 'ugly' person. Just because a person doesn't get that much attention from the opposite sex it doesn't mean that they are 'ugly'. Beauty really is in eye of the beholder, I mean look at how societies perception of beauty has changed over the years. Before chubby women were deemed to be more attractive as it supposedly indicated wealth, but now thinner women are deemed to be more attractive. Pale skin was also attractive as it indicated a luxurious lifestyle where working outside was not necessary, but now slightly tanned skin is seen as objectively attractive.
There are too many variables to come to the conclusion that someone is ugly.You may think they are,someone else may not.If many people do,still not everyone will.And no,so called ugly people in society are not treated worse than those who are gay/black/white/Indian/etc....anyone can be treated horribly,you just need to find the nearest narrow minded idiot to call them out on that. I myself feel ugly and it get's me down sometimes,but I am not going to moan about it to anyone that will listen.I am not going to let it rule my life,as really it shouldn't. What he says about when you are in a situation that really matters,i.e in hospital,you are not worrying about how fat you are,how ugly your eyes are etc..you instantly get reminded of the most important basic elements in your life,survival and those close to you.
Yes perhaps in terms of dating/romance etc..looks will matter,that is human nature and not to be denied,but again the variables are too numerous to really quantify,and many factors play a part.

I am not crazy and I have a good personality but I know I am ugly. I mean in my 19 years life not even a single girl have spoke to me. I mean not a single word with a girl who is my age (+ or - 5) not including my relatives.
I mean I am not depressed about it or anything or am I sad because of it. I mean some people are short and ugly but there are still places in this world that practices arrange marriages so I can go get a beautiful loving wife from those places. I mean I need a good job that pays a decent amount of money to do that so I am trying to study and get a good job.

Girls starts conversations with tall handsome guys all the time so why shouldn't I wait for a girl to speak to me first. I mean just because I am ugly doesn't mean my personality is not good and if girls claims that they care about personality than they should start conversation with me like the way they do it with tall handsome guys.
I mean I am not a talkative guy and I dont want to struggle to have my first word with a girl.
I mean every time a girl see me, they look away from me so it means I am ugly and I shouldn't talk to them before they do it first.

Thing that worries me is that I tend to find all females kinda ugly when they don't have their makeup on as everytime their out, at work, in magazines or on telly they have makeup on.

So...this thread is trying to make the claim that people who are ugly have and do have it worse than racial minorities? than gender variant minorities? than women? than religious minorities? etc? .... Is this thread based even the slightest in reality? Care to show me where 'ugly' people have had the same kind of discrimination? Where they haven't been allowed in certain places merely for being 'ugly'? Or when they were beaten for being 'ugly'? Or when their rights were infringed on for being 'ugly'?
