I was thinking about doing it next year. What qualifications do you need to get onto it?

Have you applied for law at MMU yet ?

Only got an acknowledgement from MMU for PGCE Secondary History :frown: would absolutely love to get an interview.

I'll make life easy for you all. There is people on courses here that got 240 points, so don't sweat if you think 280 is a struggle for you. Man Met won't turn you down for missing a grade or two, so long as you got reasonable grades and make an effort in your first year.
I got an offer for accounting last month. It's my insurance

Just wondering, does anybody know if someone has gotten in MMU with a D in maths at GCSE's? MMU might be one of my choices

Same problem as above, planing to do Multimedia and Web Computing, however I got D/E in Maths, but I do couple of course that relate to the course which are Art, Imedia, Business and Science.
I've only managed to check out the MediaCity campus because that's where my course is based at.

I really liked it, obviously Salford isn't the nicest of areas but it's not in the bad part of it and it's closer to Manchester City Centre then both MMU and Manc Uni so that's a positive.
The buildings do look pretty from the outside and there's plenty of grass space and parks, like said above to check out.
I've sort of been looking to do Biology. I'd like to be in the Manchester area and not good enough to go to Manchester Uni and I'm really torn between MMU and Salford :s-smilie:

Hah, you should see the timetable they have this year. Monday off, 9-4 tuesday, wednesday off, 9-5 thursday, friday off. The business management lot from my block are the laziest ****s ever.

What are you currently studying/have studied? - AS Pychology, Business Studies, A2 English Literature, History & Communication&Culture studies.

What course(s) are you applying for? - English

How old will you be?- 19 as I'm a third year

Accommodation? - Really like the sound of Cambridge halls (partying sounds fun), but the idea of sharing bathrooms puts me off. So possibly Oxford courts or Victoria halls. - Does anybody know what they're like for socialising/partying etc?

Sharing is fine. Two toilets/showers per flat, they're seperated and all behind locked doors. Cleaner cleans your flat every week too. You barely realise that you're actually sharing.

Source: I live in cambridge halls.

Hmm, thanks for the info there but - Do you ever get a mucky pup who pees on the floor or leaves the shower area dead messy? Have you ever has to queue for the loo or showers? It's little things like that which put me off.

Sorry, I'm just such a fussy person!
