Are G-Star Jeans Good?

Hi,

I don't have many jeans, so I have decided to get some now.

I have jeans from River Island and Voi Jeans and both are good.

I heard G-Star are good for jeans.

I'm thinking of getting this (http://www.bankfashion.co.uk/product/g-star-skiff-3d-tapered-jeans/05146/ ). Is this any good and worth the price?

Thanks

If you want to look daft and have everyone know you paid way over the odds for it, then yeah, they're mint.

Chose what you feel comfortable, and what represents you. Doesn't matter what others think about what you wear, but yourself, that way you'll attract the attention that you want, from the people you want to meet, not pose in a croud. : ) Ask yourself, what you want!
They have excellent dye retention.
I personally wear G-Star clothing and I would say that it is of a decent quality but to be honest they are not really worth the money I would rather get a couple pairs of H&M or GAP jeans

Go with Levis if you're willing to splash in that price range

I don't mind spending £65 on G-Star because I will be wearing it for a long time.

They look quite nice, however the cost of them isn't ideal, you should go through primark/tkmax etc trust me, the stuff you find there is amazingly cheap and fantastic looking + comfortable!

Gstar jeans are whack. So are Voi jeans and anything else from Bank or river island, they look too plain and common. I'd go with some Levi's jeans or Diesel, top quality and nice looking as well. If you have the money, buy some True Religion jeans which are 200-500 pound.

:yep: I have these ones in a different colour.

These ones are the selvedge and tailored limited edition ones that usually cost £40 more than the originals, so it's quite a good deal here.

£65 for G-Star isn't awful, although I'm not a big fan of their Denim; dye retention is obviously going to be good but I find that they aren't the most comfortable and, quite honestly, that money would be better spent on different brands. If you're looking for jeans in the £60-90 range, then I recommend Diesel, Levi's, DKNY and Tommy Hilfiger; they look much better whilst still being comfy, and they will last you; I've got a pair of Diesel jeans which is nearly two years old, but hasn't faded and still fits well. Alternatively, if you don't mind Abercrombie I would have a look at their jeans too; they tend to fit well and last for a surprisingly long time, but they do tend to fade a little.

Go for Levi's.

Not true. I've seen some G-Star jeans, and you can barely notice who makes it. I've got one pair of Gio Goi jeans and you can't tell who makes it. They just look really nice. The name isn't plastered every where, as it might be with their tops, shirts etc...

I like subtle naming - not big things. Just because you happen to wear something "designer" I use designer in quotation marks, because it's pretty low end stuff, it doesn't make you look like a chav

how can you say that when most celebrities wear them, they're like ray-bans because they are iconic.

Tbf, a lot of G-star stuff has the name plastered all over it (Think upper ware), and that's where that mindset comes from

4 things I associate with G-Star:

Tacky

Chavvy

Overpriced

Random-bits-of-fabric-and-massive-branding-arranged-over-ill-fitting-garments

OP, to be fair the jeans you've chosen aren't the worst pair of G-Stars I've ever seen coming from of that god awful label (they aren't reminiscent of #4) but I would be wary of venturing into the realm of tacky G-Star clothing. You certainly don't want to be rewarding the designers and sellers of such **** clothing with another £65.

If you want decent raw jeans for a similar price then get one of these instead:
