Where exactly in France? I would presume Paris. :pierre:

Paris would be nice, I've never been to France before. Anywhere is fine (within reason :tongue:)

Ugh, whenever I do some impossible Maths stuff, then I get to the end of the equation and then I somehow fail to realise a positive number turns negative on the other side of the equation... :facepalm:

It better than not reading the question properly and finding out after spending a good half an hour struggling in the question an getting the answer only to find out you read the question wrong :facepalm:

Part b

You have to make it equal to each other bug then what????

Thanks
You need to turn this:
3Sin(2x) = 4Sin^2(x) - 2Cos(2x)

Into this:
4Cos(2x) + 3Sin(2x) = 2

You have 3Sin(2x)

So you need to turn:

4Sin^2(x) - 2Cos(2x) ---> 2 - 4Cos(2x)

Sin^2(x) = (1-2Cos(2x))/2

Does that help?
It took me 5 minutes to understand where you got
(1-2Cos(2x))/2
From but I get it now you just ha to rearrange

Cos2A=1-2sin^2A

:facepalm:

Thanks though:hugs:
