A 60-year-old man is in a critical condition in hospital after being injured in a suspected trolley rage incident at a Marks & Spencer store.

The man, who has not been named, was struck by a trolley while in the M&S store at The Glades shopping centre in Bromley.

Local newspaper reports claim the man was hit by a trolley being pushed by a woman, and sustained injuries including a broken hip and wrist.
So he was struck by a trolley and now he's got a cold?

Edit: Seriously, what illness do you get from being hit by a trolley? Is this like the fire at Sea Parks?

I bet the M&S prices contributed more than the trolley.
this is not just any trolley rage

this is M&S trolley rage
Heard it was a 3 cart pile up, couldn't tell what was trolley and what was walking frame.

You have no idea the mortality (death rate) associated with a broken hip.
Its relatively high.
10-14% of patients with broken 'hips' die within a month of being admitted.

But what illness has he got? Unless the broken hip caused an infection.

Woman took supermarket sweep to a whole, dangerous new level.
Geez M&S is rough. Next you'll have drive by shootings in the Jam aisle.
