so you can buy a month's subscription, change your avvy to a big one and keep that even when you cancel it? how much is a month's sub?

I think you can only change your username if you have a reason, e.g. you've foolishly chosen one that identifies you in real life. I believe changing it for you is a pain for the people who have to do it or something.

Some of these things that people are stating have been implied have not really been implied, and are rather outright statements. So I see no loop.
