Student Finance help please!

First of all I come from Italy so I don't really know how things work out about student finance :/
Must I apply for student finance for my firm choice? And what happens if I don't get into because of my final grades?
My firm choice (if they give me an offer) would be Cardiff so should I apply in this site? http://www.studentfinancewales.co.uk/portal/page?_pageid=616,6200699&_dad=portal&_schema=PORTAL Instead of this https://www.gov.uk/student-finance-register-login ? Thank you so much for helping me!

You'd be entitled to the tuition fee loan. If you go elsewhere, you can change your choice.

yes, but EU students need to fill in a paper form rather than apply online. sometime soon the application should appear here:
http://www.studentfinancewales.co.uk/portal/page?_pageid=616,6708480&_dad=portal&_schema=PORTAL#section1

but it is not available yet.

No you don't have to apply for a tuition fee loan if you want to pay with your own money. and yes you put your firm choice down. if you dont get in then you need to inform student finance wales that either you are going to a different university or you arent going at all.

Thank you! I know that there is a fee grant to cover one part of the costs of uni but must I fill another form for this grant?

Have you lived in the uk for 3 years? You'll be eligible for full finance if that's the case. And if so, you apply to student finance Wales, as that's where you live.

No! I've never lived in the UK! I know that they give me a loan that covers the fees of uni but I'm not eligible for the maintenance grant!
