Ooof... Six hours... Sounds painful. Where are you from? Mine wasn't great either. Apparently as soon as I sat down, I came down with a cold, then a man spilled special brew on me about an hour in.

I think the location's pretty much perfect. Central, but not bogged down by camera-wielding tourists (my mum went to Newnham and apparently they'd be watched eating lunch on the quad), close to shops and direct route to the train station. Pretty excited to go there.

I live in rural north Cumbria about 20 miles from Carlisle, though I have moved about a bit, having lived on the Isle of Man for ten years before that and Scotland before that and Lincolnshire before that! What about you?

I'm also really excited to go there. Can't wait to leave school, get exam results and go!

For the medics:

On my offer letter it said about sending them a message about your decision. Has anyone told them their decision or are you waiting until you have answers from all your medical schools? since most people don't have all their replies from medical schools yet

I haven't heard from all my medical schools yet so I can't accept their offer on track. But I'll probably send them an email to say that I will be accepting their offer as soon as I can. :colondollar: I didn't get asked to send them a message, though. Have you heard from all your Med schools yet?

Hello All offer-holders!

I got an offer from Wolfson through the pool,
wanted to know if anyone has information about the college, what is it like?, student life and such. since there is very little about it online... and their website is obviously bias (as all are)....
Also wanted to know if people tend to socialise just within the college or does it not matter and people acquire friends from all colleges? are there platforms for socialising outside the college?

Thanks All. See u all this October!

Yippee, just got an offer from homerton, for Nat Sci bio, after reinterview.
Sounds like a friendly place, and I can walk on the grass!!

Well done! Yes, Homerton is definitely lovely. I have two friends in first year doing Phys Natsci, and everyone there was really friendly. It's odd how liberating it feels to walk on the grass too!

Lived in the rural West Midlands all my life. My mum says I got in as the token yokel. But then, she's a Brummie and got an offer from being the token poor person.
My excitement of going to Cambridge seems to fluctuate though; it usually gets bigger just after I mess up an exam. As I did today...

It was only chemistry, which isn't included in my offer but I'd still like to get a decent grade. I just hope it hasn't set the trend for these modules; would be absolutely devastated to fail General Studies.

I've got exams at the minute too; I had Biology and General Studies on Friday and I have a second General Studies module on Thursday.
What other subjects do you do?

I'm a Medic  My interview was on the 11th of December. I don't think I remember meeting any NatSci people that day... but I'm looking forward to meeting you this October  What made you decide on Sidney?
