This one question I can't work out:

The curve of the roof can be modelled by y = -0.013x^3 +0.016x^2 -0.082x +2.4

With the limits of x = 12 and 0, what is the area of the cross section?

No matter what I do, the answer turns out wrong...

I evaluated the following into -(0.013x^4)/4, + (0.016x^3)/3, -(0.082x^2)/2, +2.4x.

However, every time I try to evaluate it by entering x =12, I end up with -67.392 for the first term, and then with all the values added together I end up with -35. Which I know for sure isnt right, since the answer in the mark scheme reads 47.7 - 48.8.
