Oh, roflol. I'm Math with Physics too actually. Hmm, I'll see if I can take on the Pure Course on Number Theory too, though. That seems freakishly interesting.

Oh, ha! Nice. I got an S1 on my STEP, lol.
How's your prep shaping up?

Yup, moi. I'm a medic, thoughk and Sidney was my first choice. You excited? Where did you originally apply?

Yeah really excited, I hadn't seen the college when I first looked round but it seems a pretty awesome place, especially with the gardens and Sainsbury's opposite. I originally applied to Corpus Christi but bombed in the interview.

Oh yes!! I was just looking at them the other day and seeing which ones I'd be attracted to. The only problem is, it seems I want to join basically all of them! (Well, except the conservative and rifle associations). So it will be hard choosing when I get there, I guess I'll play it by ear.

You sound exactly like my kind of person.
That's exactly what I did!! Went through the whole list and looked at the number I had picked out and realised that would not be able to do ANY work if I did all of them!!!

Aha yeah, that's so true! It's just there are so many cultural societies as well that would be cool to join (and possibly get nice free food from). I'm not sure how I'm going to decide! I will just sell myself as first come, first serve I guess.
What is it you will be studying by the way?

Medicine at Clare College. What about you?
Yeh I'm debating whether to priotise the more cultural and other types of societies or try and discover my inner sporting side that has been hiding all the way through secondary school XD Kinda intrigued by the idea of Korfball

Oh cool! Well at least that means you have five years to try out as many societies as you can manage at Cambridge. I'll be reading Psychological and Behavioural Sciences at Magdalene.
Aha, your inner sporting side? Does everyone have them? If so, mine must be hiding pretty deep down. Oh, Korfball? I don't think I looked at that (probably because the name was suggestive of exercise  ), what is it?

actually 6 years lol. Medics get to stay in Cambridge for a ridiculously long time!
Oh I actually considered doing Psychology type courses before I decided on Medicine. Thought the brain was really interesting to study in particular the most biological side. =)
I don't think I've visited Magdalene. Is it nice? Was it your first choice college?
Yeh I have a semi inner sporting side which has been hiding quite a lot really. And yeh I think everyone has one really just some consider walking up stairs sport lol (mine is a little like that XD)

Korfball from my understanding is a little like handball so a mix of basketball, netball type thing. I remember playing handball when I was little and get hit square in the face by the ball to protect the goal =D

Oh really? So potentially, someone could start their degree at the same time as you and then go on to do a postgraduate and finish at the same time, aha. That's a lot of Cambridge!
Ah that's interesting. Would you want to specialise in neuroscience during your medical career then? I'm personally more attracted to the social psychology side though. And there's quite a lot of opportunity to explore this in the Cambridge course, so I'm very excited!

Haha, yeah I feel as if I'm trekking up Mount Everest whenever I need to walk up the little slope to school. XD
Aha, that's dedication! Well, it certainly sounds fairly interesting for sport.

Potentially yeh. I get to be a poor student for longer thn everyone else...unless they're doing a PhD. Well gotta love Cambridge so can never have too much =)

I'm thinking of maybe going into Psychiatry or maybe oncology (cancer). Bit different I know. I love having variety in a course means you don't have to decide exactly what you want to do for a while. hmmm... doing Social psychology means you might get to do some quirky experiments lol

Ah I have to climb eight flights of stairs to my lessons normally at least twice a day. That's what you get for doing sciences unfortunately at my college. One day I'll run up them without getting breathless!!! XD
