Yup correct! :smile:
Its due to the much bigger stars collapse exploding into the supernova resulting in producing heavier elements.
No heavier elements can be produced by nuclear fusion in the star because too much energy is required..

Explain the ways how the impact force can be decreased in a collision?

WOOPS! just needed a little refreshing on what it was!

ummm..... Crumple zones are put on the front of the car, this means on impact the reaction time will take longer and so decreasing momentum? I think I just need to revise :biggrin: gone a little rusty!

An artillery gun of mass 2000kg fires a shell of of mass 20kg at a velocity of 120m/s. Calculate the recoil velocity of the gun!

For the shell: 20kg x 120m/s = 2400 kgm/s
For the gun: 2400/2000 = 1.2 m/s
The recoil velocity of the gun 1.2 m/s

Calculate the resistance, when a circuit is provided with three 3V cells and the current passing through is 0.25mA.
1000mA = 1A

Hmmmmm no idea. All my sums lead to high resistance and I doubt they are right :confused: What is the answer? And yeah you were right!
