I don't understand what's happening anymore

I'm not sure either, but think one group has voted, now the other group is voting. First vote was mostly "yes".

they're back to milling again.

98?

I just got this email:

Dear Supporter,

Minutes ago, MPs voted by a majority of 225 in favour of the new Marriage (Same Sex Couples) Bill. The final vote in favour of marriage was 400 to 175 at Second Reading and the Bill will now go into its Commons Committee Stage.

(it goes on for a while, but the gist is that the law was passed, I think)

That's my reading of it. Can still have amendments made during the committee stage though.

That's a shame though

Definitely. Don't really see why anyone would oppose it myself...

I think they're finished?

True. Sad to think there's still 26 bishops in the House of Lords...

They appear to be talking about outdoor activities.

Had a good day?
