Umm, around 350 pounds. The one I have ordered is for 300, but I'll cancel it tomorrow.

I've asked my friend and he's like "Tell me what you want to use it for" ie Not just "I want to get it because it takes good pictures" but wants specifics, like the "nitty gritty"

That's honestly the only reason I want it. I want pretty pictures.

Can you please ask him if the Sony SLT-A37K is a good camera, and if it's worth 300 pounds.

Lol np!

Lucky! We had food on site at the airport (We stayed in tents, indoors) A take away was something like €4 or something. Walk 10 minutes out, and they were only like €2.50 or something

Ooh. That's the good thing about knowing Turkish people. I'd love to try some German food, just that very little of it is halal. Oh, and they don't sell porridge!

Ooh looks nice. Here's some pics of where we stayed (The guy in the pic isn't me btw)

Oh fair enough. I took my card, but then again I must have spent like £100 on gifts. At the time, it wasn't the best card, but the best card of the major high street debit cards if that makes any sense

Oh. I'm not looking for professional photography or anything either. My other suffered unfortunate deaths and I needed to get a new one so I thought I should just get a good one. I think I'll cancel the order and stop being lazy so I can go and have a look at the cameras myself and choose then.

Are you applying anywhere for part-time jobs?

haha i dont know if a nikon is professional :P i wanted to get a good quality one and it was after my first wage and it was in the sales haha! The quality is so good though
I just got a nikon and didnt do any other looking as my friend had it and i had seen how good it was
aha maybe for summer yep

I've been told that you should actually get a Fuji Fine Pix 7*** (He can't remember the exact model), and it's a lot cheaper, but makes "pretty pictures" quite well.

However he says that he puts his "stamp of approval" on that camera. The only thing he really has an issue with is it's zoom, but you could get another lens which may get you a better zoom

Oh right, yeah I saw that on some website online, I've forgotten now.

And tell him that the camera includes 18-55 mm Zoom Lens, if that helps at all.

Yeah that's true. We were there for about 5 days. Yeah I suppose you do but it was pretty fun, with the tents - some people even took theirs back home to the UK

Original post by MedMed12

Pretzels are nice  The food at the tube was where I really had a chance to sample German food. There was also a woman on a stall in the centre, selling ice-cream for €1 with quite a bit of ice cream. Go to London, and you'd be paying around £4 for the same thing. I find a lot of their food is pretty similar to ours

Yeah I like porridge, and I'm glad I took my own. You should taste some porridge. It tastes nice

Oh. I guess it's because you're under 18? We could do what we want, when we wanted. Just as long as we emailed the lecturer within the grounds in the morning, to say "Yeah Im safe"

I mixed it quite well I reckon. Had half seminars, half sight seeing. Met some people from other unis as well though forgot their names, and met more people from my own uni

Some people literally did nothing but go out, and some did literally nothing but go to the seminars. Some spent their nights going out. I spent it sleeping, meaning that I could go sight seeing in the day (They'd been drinking, and would wake up in the afternoon)

Erm, I guess I've been to the south of France, Berlin, London, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia (Umrah) and that's about it. Though technically I've been right across Europe (We coached it to Berlin - it took 24 hours or so)

Oh fair enough. When you want to open another, let us know. It all depends on what benefits you actually want. I literally only have lots of bank accounts for the benefits. None pay interest and my main account is an Islamic current account. If I could have the one account that gave me the benefits of all my accounts, I'd close most of them down.

Yes it makes pretty pictures, and yes he picked up on that. He said that the zoom isn't particularly great, but it's good value for money

ohh nice one, yeah thats true, but even if i was over 18, i think my parents wouldn't been keen on the idea of travelling alone tbh -so many people my age go on holidays after a-levels and some girls in the year below went interrailing ;/
yeah most countries are pretty international when it comes to food, although in italy we had alot of italian food and i discovered i dont like their pasta or pizza  the pasta is slightly undercooked there and the pizza isnt as nice as of the cheeses they use :/ and the sauce is abit raw. i think ill stick to pizza hut
i can eat it with fruit  or with honey or something sweet
that sounds great! Which uni are you at btw? enjoying it? ahh yeah like in Pak for instance, sight seeing at in the evenings was much nicer, as it was cooler.
I dont understand it when my friends say they spent a whole holiday sunbathing and swimming at the hotel :/ i wake up so early and pester to go out until late and make the most of it :/

oh a handful of places! i'd like to go travelling, but not really safe and itll be too costly and i have like so many other things i need to save up for right now

i suppose most people open all these accounts for the benefits and its safer to have your money in different places rather than one

haha love ASDA :')its where we shop

deactivated facebook! best decision i think ive made this year so far haha!

Lol this is true. it's kinda fun trying to work out where every one's from. Some people get your accent spot on, and others don't

Haha i know mate it happens all the time, get confused especially with geordies and scouses... But my fav accent has to be american & canadians ;-)

Your parent's needn't know  Besides, I went in a large group of people, so it's not like it really mattered

You know that slightly under - cooking pasta, is how it's meant to be cooked right? And also healthier at the same time. Stuff to do with it's GI
Original post by MedMed12

Oh, I can eat porridge, as is (with just milk) . That often gets me some weird looks

Original post by MedMed12

Stafford(shire) It's a bit meh tbh, but I'm here for the education,so may as well make the most of it. Im guessing you're applying for unis now?

This! I much prefer to sight see, explore the country itself, and even in the UK, I much prefer to go out in the day, go to some random place(me and my friend went to this park near me, which was pretty cool), than to go out and do "normal" things. Swimming, I can do in the UK  (not that I can really swim but still..)

Original post by MedMed12

True, I spose. European destinations tend to be quite a lot cheaper though!

Lol actually I have most of my money in one place. In one account, I keep a constant £200, in another, a constant £125 (I had 0p in it, but Lloyds screwed up and now owe me £15 - they admitted to it, and said they'd pay if I lost money fore their error)

Lol. Shop there all the time as well. Cheaper than the rest  Get fuel from there as well, but *may* go to shell if it's worth it, and then experiment to see if BP is cheaper lol

I still use fb a fair bit tbf
