Multilingual and Polyglot Wannabee Thread! MK I

I want to see if this thread works. It'll be for people who are trying to learn or already know two or more languages...

We can try to mix and match languages and help each other along without the restraint of one language per thread...

So here are languages I'd like to use:

French, Welsh?, Italian, Spanish, German and English!

Lets begin!

Some brilliant links for languages:
Welsh
French
Russian
Spanish

For all languages, I recommend about.com

Special Helpers
French - constantmeowage
Spanish - AquisM
German - Octopus_Garden
Danish - Ronove
Dutch - thatitootoo
Welsh - constantmeowage
Mandarin - BuddingAchiever
Russian - SecretDuck

Nous pouvons parler en français, and then change mid sentence into another language, it can help when we're stuck...

Every time we change language put a * in so we know

J'espère que *this thread will pick up and become active! *Avrei pensato che * sera assez * popular!

Je sais que ce sera * verzwickt * but it'd also be quite a fun way of learning other languages... Nous devrions * quote anyone who is able * hablar * multiple languages

That was:

French * German * English * French * English * Spanish * English

 no Italian :colonhash:

Buona idea!!!

I'll be using primarily English (obviously), French, Italian and Spanish... with bits of Mandarin (possibly, but it's a pain to type) and Esperanto along the way. Depends which languages I'm focusing on at the time

Aha, capisco!!!

Esperanto is an 'artificial language' made from the European languages. It's not widely spoken in any particular place but it's apparently a good base for language learning!

Anche, vorrei essere una poliglotta un giorno così questa * thread * è perfetto per mi!

(Ci sono un sacco di Italiano nella mia risposta ma ho avuto una lezione di Italiano dopo la scuola!)

Esparanto ist eine *artificial *Sprache :mmm: *It was invented by a Russian to make it easy to communicate with foreigners for all people. Of course, it was based on European languages so it's not actually that helpful for non-Europeans :colonhash:

Yeah okay I got there late

Aah, je vois! C'est bonne parce que nous avons les langues différents (which we're better at)

It'd be awesome if we all ended up speaking in three different languages + with each other
