is there any other additional student funding i can get?

i get student funding from SLC but right now i'm flatline broke (even exceeded my overdraft) and i can't even afford to eat. these are hard hard times.

can i get any sort of emergency loan from my uni? thanks in advance

Hello mathshelpneeded, your Uni will have a financial support team/funding office or something named similar. Your union may also provide a service that helps with funding problems, I would contact either of these to begin with.

Every university has an allocation of money called the Access to Learning Fund you maybe able to apply for. This is a small hardship fund, however there are often only certain priority cases who receive a contribution from this, so it is not something to necessarily rely on.

Your Uni may offer a short term loan facility so it is worth asking about this as well. Although there is no guarantee every institution will offer this.
