That was from ages ago. I don't spend enough time on here to justify tailoring my profile for nerks like you to look at it.. Again, grow up.

Fair enough. But still, you probably should stop being such a tosser.

I would argue that those who act like 'chavs' and are middle class do not randomly hit people with baseball bats, go 1 v 14 with some unsuspecting person, kick shades of ****e out of each other for being from a different town. This behaviour sits chav's apart. Yes. These middle class people may go on similarly, for example making noise while drinking, but at least their not violent with strangers.

The only reason that your making your point is simple. You've never really experienced a 'chav.' And you haven't. Otherwise you wouldn't be sticking up for the filthy scumbags.

I would argue that 90% of people you would describe as chavs don't do that stuff either.

I do apologize for having a different view to you...

My chemistry teacher suggested 'sterilising' chavs who are of third or fourth generation (their parents were chavs, and theirs, and so on) .. I'm not sure if she was joking or not

No, because you come across as a bigoted intolerant small minded selfish tosser.

You come across as someone who's never lived in the real world. I hate liberalism and socialism but I'm open to some of their points that are realistic. Your views are completely off the scale. You want a Eutopian society, which isn't possible.

Why can liberals never see that helping people to the point that they take advantage isn't working.

Where have I argued for a "eutopian" society? (whatever that is, I presume you mean "utopian").

No, I never have.

And this "real world" stuff? Give me an example of what it means. See, for me, the "real world" is one in which I work, take my kids to school and playgroup, pay a mortgage, pay bills, participate in my community, encounter poverty and social problems daily in my work, go down the pub, help neighbours out etc.

What's your real life like?

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me how people manage this!

Since my Dad was made redundant my family have gone without all luxury items as we simply can barely afford the bills! I'm always hearing about how people have all the best clothes and phones and TV's but on benefits you get enough to some of the bills and buy food. that is is, everything else either comes out of savings that my dad had accumulated over the years (yeah he's worked all his life but all people on benefits are lazy scumbag shirkers right? at least thats according to everyone on TSR) or from my own weekend job. I have a £10 Alcatel Phone that I can barely afford to top up. I havent had new clothes in over a year and my parents havent been able to afford to go to their local club and see their friends. So please let me know how to get all this money from benefits cause where I'm standing there is none!

They go into debt - payday loans etc

Scum of the earth, throw them into the French border, we don't need them, and we don't need the Romanian and Bulgarian chavs who are looking to flood in.

It's a drain on the UK, it's a drain on society, it's a drain on our culture. It's just awful.

Most anti social crimes in the UK are committed by these morons, lets be tougher on them!

They stand for the "working class"? No they don't. I'm working class and I despise them.

It's about time we clamped down on these scumbags. All they do is drink or do drugs. They don't have jobs. The way they go on is appalling. It's time we clamped down.

Oh, and the thing that annoys me. "Oh, they need a cuddle. They just need support." No they don't. They need a kick up the arse. They need a prison sentance. They need a reality check.

These people are ruining this country by playing the "were working class" card.

Well said!

Owen Jones needs a good, hard slap for the garbage he produces. People are called chavs as it is a characteristic they portray out of choice, no-one is forcing them to be rude. It is laughable that he compares it to racism or sexism, they are not choices so people who use racist or sexist language are clowns. Lefties like him who imply that the working class are chavs are the problem.
My brother in law pretty much sums up what is wrong with society. He literally is a living stereotype - smokes weed, left school early with no GCSEs and has never had a single job, is too lazy to sign on (so gets absolutely zero money, which I suppose is one redeeming feature for society, but not for his mum who needs rent money), had a child at 16, never looks after said child leaving his ex to do it all and pay for it all, but got a tattoo with his name on to show how supposedly loving and devoted he is to his child. Yeah right!

We've tried to help him with his CV, apply for jobs on his behalf etc. but he just flat out refuses to get out of bed to go to interviews if he gets to that stage. There's a sixth form college literally across the road from where he lives and he's too lazy to even attend there! He won't help himself so I don't know what anyone can do about it to be honest. He hasn't been caught committing any serious crimes so prison won't solve the issue (though he has stolen and sold on a lot of his own family's property) but he worms his way out of it and it's impossible to prove it was actually him. It's a joke but kicking him out the house hasn't worked either.

I think we should shoot him.

That sounds like classic depression to me. Sounds like he needs help.

I don't know what can be done.......

I feel sorry for his kid to have a deadbeat dad

No offence!

I thought that myself, but no, he really is just lazy. He will choose to go out at night and party many nights a week with equally deadbeat friends without a care in the world but runs away when the real world gets to him.

I know a guy who is the exact same and has a child and does nothing. His friends managed to get him a job washing dishes, and he turned it down because he didn't want to be a cleaner  - You have a child goddamn it!

Sounds like an inability to cope. There are always reasons behind laziness. Could be his partying is a form of self medication.

I still don't think that's a good enough excuse to behave the way he does, stealing his family's property who have done nothing but try to help him and sell it on to fund his drug and alcohol habits when he's got a young baby to look after - it's not just him and his laziness anymore, he's got someone else to think about now and he just doesn't care. I just think he lacks any direction and motivation because he knows his family will just help him out because they won't chuck him out the house, it'll only make things worse. He needs a good kick up the arse.
