It's really not as bad as it sounds. It's actually really handy it lets you shuffle things around in so many ways, that's why Japanese can't be translated into English too well. All that is needed for a grammatically correct Japanese sentence is a verb.

I know. The only thing my teachers reccomend it for is for listening to them speak- this only works for commoner languages such as Italian or French though, they don't have the proper speech thing on Esperanto or Welsh etc...
