Another girl!

I'm going to be the only fella there.
I reckon it's going to have to be PP, Vine Court or D&R Greenbank.

'fraid you won't be buddy! I'm torn between Opal Court and D&R. Prefer the earlier one purely cos of location but I fear the social side might be a bit rubbish.
Decisions decisions!

After seeing the bathroom at opal court , it definitely wasn't a choice anymore

So now I won't even apply to three places because I'm picky . I'm just gonna apply for vine court & prospect point

Hey, I will be studying Law at Liverpool too, I'm going to firm it this weekend! I'm just so stuck with accommodation, I've only looked around Vine Court and fell in love with it, but from some other threads i've heard its a little quiet, I'm pretty sociable and I don't want to be stuck with quiet, unsociable people! :s-smilie:

Yeah it looks the business. 500 odd rooms split between JMU and UoL though. I'm hoping plenty of people put VC down as their first choice so there's more rooms available.

Aww yeah another girl!! Ha it looks like we're going to run the place :') if you're looking for somewhere social then greenbank is the place from reading about! Also I've heard about somewhere called grand central where everyone from the three unis all live together and that's like a social hub

Hey, I have firmed Liverpool for law but still have no idea what to put down for my accommodation choices. Will we be having a lot of lectures? And if so do you think it'll be better to stay on campus? Thank you

I don't think anyone does to be honest haha!! Vine Court and Prospect point are looking popular by the looks of it.. our contact time per week is like twelve hours so its not a lot at so I don't think it would matter too much if you were off campus

Oh ok I'm glad I'm not the only one worrying about it. Yeah I was thinking of going there at first but now I've been reading up on the other choices I'm not so sure. What are you thinking of putting down? I just hope that when they send out the email I'll be prepared.

Me too ! I really don't want to be disappointed with accommodation it really won't be a good start to it all :s-smilie: I don't know where is best to be quite honest, I wish I had the time to go and see them all before I have to decide!! For me it's looking like prospect point, then vine court then Greenbank and like an emergency option? I don't know I need to look again haha :')

Exactly, like if I get put somewhere I don't want to go it'll make me less exited to go and just wouldn't be good at all because it'll be tough enough as it is. Yes! the pictures on the website don't show much of them at all. I'm thinking of putting down Vine Court catered as my first choice but I'm not 100% sure because of the price, then maybe Derby and Rathbone ensuite but there isn't that many of them so that is a problem. Idk the only thing putting me off going to Prospect Point is the walk back from the campus at night.

Yeah, think I'll put that as my first choice then D&R as my second!

Yeah D&R is tempting for the social side of things. I just can't be bothered with buses. The money spent on taxis after nights out as well.

Any idea how many self catering/ensuite rooms there are at D&R?
