I'm so confused with how to structure my questions- PLEASE HELP!

Like the title suggests I'm so confused with how to structure my answers in psychology for example, this question: assess the effectiveness of methods of health promotion? How would I structure it? Do I write about reliability and validity? I got confused and just wrote about what the studies found out and then wrote that all 3 methods should be combined to make an even better method of health promotion. But I only got 5/15 marks. :frown:

So please HELP! I really want to get an A by the end of the year but I keep getting Bs and Cs. :frown:
anyone? :please:

Yeah you always have to talk about reliability and validity in every evaluation question and make sure they're really detailed too. But also make sure you link your answer to what the question is asking. So in this question mainly focus on limitations and how these limitations may effect whether we can accept the findings on how useful or not a particular method of health promotion is.
A good format to answer this questions may be:

Talk about Method x (in depth)
Talk about studies which do / do not support Method x
Include reliability and validity (ideally two points here)
Talk about Method y
Talk about studies which do / do not support Method y
Include reliability and validity (ideally two)
Give your own opinion, which is better? (Not in first person)

This should give you full marks.

What do you mean by which studies support the method? The studies are about different methods of health promotion i.e. media campaigns, legislation and fear arousal.
So one method would be media campaigns:

1.

Describe what media campaigns are, examples of them, etc. [AO1]

2.

State any research into the effectiveness of media campaigns, do they suggest media campaigns work, or not, why? [AO2]

3.

Describe limitations of these studies, and more, the method itself. [AO2]

4.

Bring in your [AO3], such as Ethics, etc.

Do this for 2 or more methods, and you'll ace it
