You do realise that you need at least 130% A*'s at GCSE to be eligible for Oxford, right? Your measly 100% just won't cut, I'm sorry to say.

Try London Met.
No. Oxford wouldn't want somebody stupid enough to not know that they have suitable grades when they have grades such as yours - if you have such grades at all, that is.

You so obviously have the grades for it that he assumed you were trolling. Personally I think if you have the entry requirements everyone should apply anyways.

Though remember that they base entry primarily on TSR rep gems nowadays, so get busy.

You do not have an A* in Design and Technology, therefore as an admissions tutor of Oxford university, if you applied to us you would not make it sorry, we prefer versatile students with BTEC's

In fact, Oxford has already rejected OP on the strength of that post.

This question did not come across as planned. I was wondering, because I went to a state school, would that lower my chances of success? I have heard rumours about such things.

Considering you only have '100%' in 2 subjects I am going to have to say no..

Possibly consider repeating the ones you did bad in?

Your education would have no bearing on your placement at Oxford, so long as you have the grades and they want you in then its a given. Sometimes privately educated people can possibly get rejected in the mix but it is extremely rare (if your not trolling)

Not if you adopt the language they speak (drawl your words and inject latin occasionally).

No, its fine. Arguably an advantage.

Clearly your current grades are are no barrier to an application.

He only got 15 A* grades at GCSE...

What gives you the impression that somewhere as prestigious as London Metropolitan University is going to want him?
