Core 2 OCR trig help

I have been given this question and have tried and tried and tried! I've re-written the trig funtions in everyway I can and i can't seem to get it to fit! Can anyone help please!

This hinges on you recognising the difference of two squares.

(1−cos⁡x)(1+cos⁡x)=1−cos⁡2x=sin⁡2x(1-\cos x)(1+\cos x)=1-\cos^2 x = \sin^2 x
