thought id set up a thread for everyone with an offer, so people who have similar questions about starting med school can talk!

where do people have offers for? and were you a gap year, grad or first time applicant!?

i have an offer at manchester and im a gap year applicant :biggrin:

Yeah I have visited them both and by preparing for my interviews with them I understand that they are both integrated courses, they are quite similar really. But in terms of city life newcastle is more vibrant but Leicester seems pretty fun as well with a student village and all..

well then think of other things like pre-clin divide or whether you can intercalate (if you want to) or anything else which is a bonus (like for me manchester gives you ipads! :biggrin:

) my friend goes to leicester and the student life is brilliant, but remember that in newcastle youll have to put up with the geordie shore type of people...

Hi all and congratulations!

I have offers from Edinburgh, Newcastle and Nottingham and am still waiting to hear from Leeds. Really struggling to decide which to firm but am going to post-offer open days at Edinburgh and Newcastle which will hopefully make things clearer! If anyone can advise how they made a choice, I'd be grateful. At the moment, my head is saying Edinburgh but my heart Newcastle...
