S2 hypothesis testing.

The mean time for an athlete to complete a circuit is 100 seconds standard deviation of 3 seconds. Distribution can be assumed normal.Three months later after an athlete has completed training his daily times to complete the circuit on 10 different occasions are... It gives the values have to test at 5% level if he improved. They did.

Next bit It says the mean is 98 seconds standard deviation is 3 seconds. What would be the maximum total time for 10 circuits at some later stage which would provide evidence at 5% of further improvement?

Not too sure how to go about this part.

The maximum total time for 10 circuits, is 10 times the maximum mean time for 10 circuits.

Is that sufficient?
