Green's theorem

I just have a quick question regarding green's theorem. I'm asked to verify green's theorem in the plane for integral_C (.... dx + .... dy) where C is a closed curve of the region bounded by ... .

Now i know i need to show that the left hand side equals the right, which i've done but i get a negative answer. Is that possible?

My guess would be that you've got the orientation of C wrong, but it's impossible to say without seeing some working.
