Vectors help! C4

Hey guys, Sorry to be a bother but I am finding vectors REALLY hard,
Currently doing practice paper 3 and stuck on vectors, could anyone be kind enough to go over it with me? I've done part a but rest is a blur! Hope you can see the picture, thanks!

(b) use the scalar/dot product = standard question
(c) that is just the equation of the line AB

Ah got it, b is using dot product isn't it. It seems really simple now haha
