Core 1 question!

Q10a on this file (http://www.mattsrevision.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/Core-1-January-2007-Solutions.pdf) says that the curve touches the x axis at x=0. Does this always apply i.e. (x-a)^2 touches the x axis at a?

Thanks
Archie

Yes (for all real a, and where a is a constant)

I'm able to access the file easily. Try right clicking and then choosing "save link as" (it might be something different on a Windows computer).
