Doubtful. Russia is hardly in any state to go to war, their economy would just die quicker. If the North attacked the South or America we'd likely see China invade the North rather than help them

Russia is one of the most powerful countries in world. Plus Russia would most likely get support from all the soviet union countries.

I would't call it one of the most powerful countries in the world. It's military is in a state and and in the midst of a rearmament campaign that will take a good few years to really feel the effects of. The old soviet countries aren't going to get involved unless Russia strongarms them and there is little they would really add. Russia's economy is so resource dependent that unless the oil price keeps going up their entire economy could collapse. A war would be the end of Russia.

I reckon NK's leaders are in a better position to know what China thinks than we are. Therefore I think China's attitude can be best gauged by what NK does and does not do. China's rhetoric is a better alternative from their perspective than openly justifying NK's actions.
