I'm not sure you can use Cyrillic to describe a language, but it's basically another offshoot of Greek (like our Latin alphabet).

I think most Slavik languages use it.

hmm how to explain... Щ is a more shrill kind of sound, it might help typing words containing the letters into Google translate and listening to them speak it, for example шапка means hat, and щека means cheek :smile:
