Explain what is meant by an image being virtual

Virtual image is when the light rays dont actually meet..
And is produced my diverging lens ...
hope this is right :colondollar:

yeah it is, its when the image is placed where it can't possibly be :colondollar:, just to add to your answer,

Scum is formd when soap reacts with dissolved minerals in the water. Scale is formed when heat is applied to hard water.

State two ways in which convex lenses are different to concave lenses

Convex:
-Forms a real image
-Make the light rays converge to a focus

Concave:
-Forms a virtual image
-Makes the parallel light rays diverge - spread out

Name and tell the functions the parts of the eye..

Titration question!
What mass of potassium sulfate ,K2SO4, is there in 250cm3 of a 1 mol/dm3 solution?

THe stomata on the underside of the leaf.... air spaces within the leaf.. flattened shape increases the area of exchange

???? right???

How do old and new artificial ventilators work?

its a good start, waxy cuticle to reduce water loss, air spaces so co2 can diffuse, stomata which allows gaseous exachange controlled by guard cells. Long roots increase surface area :colone:

The negative pressure - 'iron lung', person lies in chamber and air is absorbed to create a vaccum and then the intercorsal muscles contract making the ribs to move upwards and outwards which casues the diaphragm to flatten, increase volume of thorax which decreases the pressure in the chest. Hence, you breathe in. ETC.

Positive pressure- basically its like a pump :colondollar:
How do you find the centre of mass of a thin irregular sheet of a material??
plum line thingy.. two lines intersection is centre of mass
What's everyone revising today ?
