-People that drop weights top the list for me, it makes me jump when they do that. -People that wipe sweat with their hands and touch every part of the machine, especially when i want to use that one next. -People that have conversations beside me on the treadmill, it can be distracting and some of the things i hear...
There's a woman that goes to my gym , she shows up dressed to the nines in expensive barely there gym gear , heads to the weights section and lifts so seductively, she moans like shes having an orgasm and attracts so much attention. Funny enough all she ever seems to do is deadlifts, squats and lunges. She also puts on a show when drinking water from the fountain. A lot of women at the gym can't stand her , i just find it entertaining. Lol.
Oh and a group of men who laugh at skinny/fat guys or fat girls. They don't even pretend , they openly say mean things about these people.
Kind of going on a tangent but back when I used to be obese, I would do a run on the treadmill for 40 minutes and I would drip in sweat. After I would go to the machines and bench etc (I had no idea how to lift properly at the time). And I never actually noticed till my brother pointed it out but whenever I moved off the bench/seat/machine there would be a big wet patch in the shape of my big ass.

I feel you. You've really got to spell it out, even if you end up sounding patronising.
Guys are usually overeager at a chance for you to spot them from underneath, on the heaviest barbell curl of their lives!
Was going for PB the other day on bench, feeling really good, first try in over a year its taken me to get to this strength, and the guy yanked it up immediately.....why why why did you do that ((
People who drink that can of nourishment milkshake crap, and act like its some sort of magical performance enhancer.
The guys that lift way above what they can handle (not even getting full range of motion). Then walking around as if they are the great khali whilst staring everyone down, and then shadow boxing in front of everyone.
And girls who just do cardio because they "don't want to accidentally get big muscles"
The people that insist they're the experts on everything and spout random broscience and then call me an idiot when i ask for any proof of broscience "It's obvious" or they say stuff like "muscles get stronger after like small tears so clearly doing 10 forced reps after i fail with the spotter doing most of the work helps" because one statement equals the other.

Back when I was a noob, I asked some random gym bro on losing weight advice and he said: "bro you need to eat protein, instead of a chocolate bar have a protein bar, just eat as much protein as possible, because when you do your body just ****s it out and it doesn't get absorbed"

Very little bothers me in the gym. I suppose there've been a couple of times when a group of guys have hogged the weights area when most of them are just chatting, or when I'M in the weights area trying to do BB squats and a group of guys just sort of engulf me and act like I'm invisible.
Oh, and perhaps the rare dirty look from another girl, or two.
Shadow boxing is actually a great warmup. If you are actually a boxer or some form of martial artist, it is also good for improving footwork.
I know its great.
But this guy isn't a boxer, you can tell. He's arm punching, no pivoting, he's not even breathing correctly.
And it looks like the only reason he is doing it is to show off, the way he walks around and stares at people after shadow boxing gives me the impression that he thinks he can knock everyone out.
And plus he's constantly mirin himself in the mirror (its one of the most cringe worthy things I have ever seen).

I honestly don't know why he comes to the gym.
You know what? I can almost guarantee that you are thinking about this **** more than he is. Most people posture to some extent in any environment that they are in. You shouldn't feel threatened - just let him have his fun and concentrate on your own training.

But generally it is for twigs that feel threatened that they're surrounded by bigger and stronger blokes ...so they try and make themselves look tough by shadow boxing.
