Part-time MA

How many unis in London offer part-time MA degrees? I have searched for it, sometimes I find a uni on a list or in an article but I don't find it on their webpage.

I am looking for part time degrees in Art History/Art Business, subjects along those lines. Do any good London unis practice this?

A lot of MA degrees can be studied on a part-time basis - see UCL, KCL, QMW (or whatever it is these days) and LSE. If you want evening only part-time degrees, have a look at Birkbeck, which is part of the University of London.

Does it happen that the option of doing a degree part time is not listed at their webpage but that they do accept it?
It seems art schools are somewhat more rigid, I was really hoping they offered this at Central Saint Martins.

UCL offer an MA History of Art which can be done part-time over two years:
http://www.ucl.ac.uk/art-history/current_students/masters_students/ma_courses

Goldsmiths run an MRes Art History part-time, although this is research-based rather than taught:
http://www.gold.ac.uk/pg/mres-art-history/

CSM doesn't seem to have anything like Art History on their Masters course list.

I just Googled "MA art history London" and had those details in a few minutes. I'm sure there are more out there.

Web pages don't publicise it very well, but you will usually find a reference somewhere to length of time for the course where there's, say, a year for full-time and 2 for part-time. Ask St Martin's - I don't know about them When I last looked, Birkbeck was doing a History of Art MA.

Thanks, yeah I looked into Goldsmith's.

Also i see that Sotheby's Insitute of Art has one. How's their reputation in the UK?

The undergrad I'm doing is actually business but this semester I'll be working in a gallery and I also have done evening courses in Art Business. I read that sometimes they accept people for MA whose undergrad isn't actually art, but I don't know how common it is.
