Ah, I didn't look at the zoomed in version. You'll make a great stalker, young one
What do you consider yourself as? British, English, Irish? I mean, NI is part of GB so (I had a teacher who's from NI and she did say some people from NI might be offended if they are called Irish)
Another Irish person I met pronounced 'car' as 'cow'
I consider myself as British! I have a British Passport and Northern Ireland is part of Great Britain as you said. Your teacher was right though - some people would be very offended! Not me though, but I guess I'm just a middle of the road sort of person, and I know how hard it would be for someone that isn't from Northern Ireland to understand it all.
Ah I see, yeah I have no idea either! I'm your idea of Year 11, but over here it's a wee bit different! And also most of my exams are CCEA (N. Irish board), thought that may have given it away..
Not underestimating your stalking abilities though... and regarding my accent, yes I have one but I hate it! Not cool in the slightest:L
I'll have to find out... you don't have reception, but just start with year one. Interestingly, if I was in Northern Ireland, I think I'd be in year nine!
I didn't know CCEA was Irish, I thought it was international! I love Irish, Scottish and Welsh accents! And anyway, most accents only sound good to people without that accent!

That was your downfall. Thank you, I need more experience though!
Yeah you are right we start at Year 8 and end at Year 14 (Upper Sixth). I think it's a Northern Ireland based board, however it may be International? I'm not sure! I love every accent apart from my own...the people on TV portray it to be a lot 'harsher' sounding than it really is (AKA, back streets of Belfast!).

It's Northern Irish, I just checked! That system would be much simpler, but it wouldn't make much difference after leaving primary school. I don't like most American ones or some up North (I live in the South). I think I'd prefer a less harsh accent, it sounds nicer!
