Last hitting your own creeps which reduces the amount of xp the other team gets from the creep dying.

Oh nope, you can't last hit your own creeps. Just get the last hit on their creeps (FOR THE GOLDS) - usually you'll lane against an idiot who attacks the creeps when the creeps are on full HP. They'll push the lane as more of your minions die (since your minion wave is weaker), you're closer to your turret, safer from ganks while they're vulnerable to ganks.#

Edit: You can sort of deny them EXP and gold if you're playing a stronk early game champion. Play a bit aggressive and they won't want to trade with you and they'll be 'zoned' away from EXP range, and you as they're scared.

What do you mean in this context? I've had a pentakill (really rare) denied to me as well, when my friend KS'd me as I was killing the last guy. Raged quite hard.

Pentas are really really rare. When you get close to one you'll probably have a denied penta rage if you don't get it, or you get KS'd :tongue:
