Is retaking AS year that bad?

I'm currently doing pretty badly at AS levels, mainly due to physics.
If I don't achieve my targets by the end of the year I will have to retake my AS-level year. Anyway, my question is, are universities that bothered by you retaking AS year?

Depends what universities, and your predicted y13 grades may be negatively effected

I think you will be fine, so long as you achieve the grades required, I think A*/A universities would be more worried about resits, so just impress them on your PS and ensure you bolster the rest of your application and smash the resits to get a place
