Anyone doing A2 EDEXCEL Kaiser to Fuhrer for June? (2013)

Hey

Well, at my college, they totally messed up with our History teachers. We got terrible teachers all the time, one after the other another one came and we hoped they could teach but to our disappointment they were all always bad.

We've learnt to cope, although I moan about it pretty much everyday.
I wanted to know about how you guys get taught the syllabus, my current teacher just puts on videos most of the time and gives us sheets which we highlight. I don't find it helpful in the slightest bit...

Because I know the amount of hairs I pulled out for my AS exam, I memorised dates after dates and went into the depths of the content because I had the fear of failing. And I hate failure. Because of this 'battle' (you could call it ) I got an A for my result. Yes I was happy, but without sounding 'bigheaded' I deserved it, I worked my ass off and it was a painful and stressful time.

But now,I don't know if I can do the same this year. I've not even started revising and this year is supposed to be much harder. I don't even have booklet to revise off whereas last year atleast we had them.

Has anyone got any good resources orany advice or comments would even be appreciated.

Looking forward to hearing from you's!!

Oh my god, you sound exactly like me!

Pretty much our entire class failed the coursework so at the moment I'm re-doing that at at the same time as trying to revise for the Germany exam :frown:

Our teacher is pretty good with the resources though- if I can find a way to upload all the journals he gave us I'll send them to you if you like

Our's isn't either really- but he's the only history teacher left so he doesn't really have time to help us all properly :frown:

I know how you feel though!

I'll start scanning/uploading them during the week

Ah- no I wish I was doing that topic though :/ I'm doing the Russian topic unfortunately.

Still- nice to know there's someone out there that can help xD

He's talking about this. It looks good but i already have two textbooks but i may have to invest into this!

Im pretty much failing the A2 coursework. I have so much to do in little time. My Part A is not finished and i havent started part B. AND on top of that, i have to revise for my exams. Thankfully they are all in June

Hey. Thanks.

Thank God I've done my courseworks, to be honest with, that's one thing my teacher was brill at. Getting our courseworks done. Now I'm worrying about the exam, taught myself the first chapter up untill when ww1 breaks out...

I use this book http://www.amazon.co.uk/Kaiser-Fuhrer-Germany-1900-1945-Edexcel/dp/0340990155/ref=sr_1_10?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1365954090&sr=1-10&keywords=access+to+history and this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Edexcel-GCE-History-Germany-1900-45/dp/043530805X/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1365954148&sr=1-1&keywords=Martin+collier

I don't bother buying them. My college has these. The access to history one is through and detailed, if you want to get the high grades thats good. But it's also tedious and wordy.
