It's very interesting to look at these papers.
It's a while since I did GCSE maths, but from what I remember it looks like the O level wasn't as different as people like to make out.

it seems that in those days there was endless geometry of circles and triangles.
and without calculators i am not sure how they managed ?

Numbers perhaps fixed to be whole perhaps?

He has to be both mean AND inaccurate.
The O Level Maths is very much like a modern FSMQ Add Maths paper, with some GCSE stuff.
