Yep, and I'm doing my A levels now. I remember finding them quite difficult but they were a piece of cake comparing to A levels. Good luck with yours!

The ones I had to pick were:
English
Maths
The Sciences
ICT
A language (in year nine, our school do early entry language GCSE in year nine so thats over and done with now) - French

The ones I picked were:
History
Geography
Art
Health and Social.

Although in Year Nine when I picked my options I originally picked Medical History, Drama, Business Studies, and Health & Social. But business was full so I took art instead, and then I dropped medicinal history and drama about a month in because I hated it.

Humanities - I chose History
ICT (Short Course)

My options:
Drama
DT
Compulsory:
Maths - It's ok
English Lit - Love it
English Lang - Fairly good
Biology - Quite interesting
Chemistry - I like C2, but not C3, so it's mixed
Physics - Hate it
Short course ICT - It was quite good (did it last year)

Options:
Spanish - Love it so so much
French - Also love it a lot
Food Tech - Easy and fun
Drama - It's ok

Compulsory:
English (Language & Lit)

Doing a levels atm and they make gcse work look like primary school work :O
Compulsory:
English Language
English Literature
Maths
Statistics (sort of compulsory - the top two sets for maths have to do it)
Biology
Physics
Chemistry
ICT (the world's most pointless GCSE - when in life are you ever going to need to know what an input device is? We get half an hour a week and get taught nothing - we play on bored button and make snowflakes while the teacher tells us to do exercises out of the book which again teach you nothing) - sorry, rant over.

Options
German (you have to do one modern language and since I do Latin, which, um, isn't...)
History
Latin
Music
Compulsory:
Maths
English Lit
English Lang
Science
RE
PE

I picked:
Triple sciences - I fail at chemistry :sigh:
IT - Probably the one I understand the most
History - I understand history as well and tend to pick up quickly on it too
French - I really love learning languages but I fail at French because I missed out the basics

I'm such a nerd. I LOVE maths, science and IT! :colondollar: (And I wear glasses too)

Well I just chose what I enjoyed when I was in year 9 although I regret 2/3 of the options that I chose now. I wish I would have chose triple science rather than ICT and History rather than Graphic design. Good luck!

Compulsory:

Maths
English Lit
English Lang
Triple Science
RS

I chose:

French
History

Why we have to do RS as a GCSE I don't know. It's just more stress, and let's be honest - not gonna make much difference when you're applying for uni :/
