Before people make assumptions, I'm not muslim, I'm pretty much as conservative as they come, but this does seem like much ado about nothing, if you may.


You've never noticed that before? It's just a high profile event, people die in Iraq every day, people die in car crashes every day, but this thing stands out. You want to cover the thousands who die on this planet every hour? By all means go ahead.

Yes, but that's like reporting that a dog bit a man. This is a man bites dog story. You don't expect bomb blasts in western countries. It is a rare occurence.

I have no doubt North Korea could absolutely do something like this overseas if they so choose. Historically, they've demonstrated a capability to undertake overseas terrorist attacks (the Seoul Airliner attacks in the late 1980s, the bombing of the South Korean cabinet visit in Rangoon in the early 1980s).

Also, it's far easier than you'd think. All you'd need is one or two trained Korean nationals who will take orders. You can obtain all the materials you need over the counter in the US.

It was a scene out of a war movie.
When people become accustomed to something, they lost interest. That's why the deaths in Iraq are not widely publicised. Its sad, but that's the truth. :/

I think what people mean when they claim terrorists aren't muslims is that, they are sinning in so many different ways that they are not following the religion therefore are not practising muslims. Anybody could say I am muslim.

I had no idea about any of this.

In that case its definitely a possibility. It is odd at this stage to have no idea and if it was Al-Quaida or someone theyd have probably claimed responsibility already.

And the fact that saudi arabia is americas second biggest ally. Strange that they would be allies when they support so much terrorist activity, hmmm.... Makes you wonder..

If that Saudi national was not involved in the planting of the bombs, I'd imagine it was some nutter amused by the Sandy Hook shootings, wanting to attack anything to do with it for attention.






That guy on the roof, I wonder if it's possible he was positioned halfway between the two explosions. It seems a good vantage point. It's quite a chilling picture, even if it's a coincidence.

I imagine its got something to do with Patriots Day.

Seems an odd target otherwise.

Eyewitnesses are describing police sniffer dogs at the finish line & security on top of buildings before the bombs went off.

Interesting post.

What I find fascinating is that these days, there are simply so many cameras, so many lenses, so much computing power and ability to share, that citizens themselves may be able to contribute as much to an investigation as the police and security services.

Actually, I think he's on the other side of the second explosion so he wasn't in the middle. Still might be a vantage point though.

Oil. But we won't need them for much longer; once we develop enough renewable energy, we can cut them off.

If they continue to support terrorist groups, they should be subject to a military attack

North Korea wouldn't risk a thing a like this, they have everything to lose and nothing to gain. They know fine well America could wipe them off the map, the leadership that is, with conventional weapons
