America - like to hit but not get hit

Surely this is the truth. Can anyone justifiably say that what America is doung across the world is not terrorism?

Keeping the Islamists under control just as they did the Communists and fascists.

Without America's lead, we'd have Jihadists afflicting more countries with the yolk of totalitarian Islam than they already do.

Remember, the Islamists have been at it for far longer than America's war on terror (before anyone brings that up as being the spark)

Churchill warned about Islam as far back in 1899.

the Muslim brotherhood has been active since the 20's. Extremism in Islam goes right back to Muhammad's days as a war-lord and conqueror of Pagan/Kuffar lands.

Given that their actions are generally not targeted at civilian populations with the main aim being to spread terror I feel confident that most of their actions do not constitute terrorism.

This.

The United States does not intentionally target civilians, and despite a few setbacks, it's clear its intentions are good.

It's gone on way longer than in 1899, it's been going on since the crusades. The only difference is that the weapons are different, and an even bigger christian country is involved.

Firstly lol million what a foolish statement. If you want to look at who kills the most people in the US's recent wars you'll find its the insurgents and groups like al Qaeda and the Taliban that kill the most civilians. Or even Saddam who oversaw the murder of a million Iraqi's

Secondly no one is claiming that it makes it ok for the US to kill civilians. However to call accidental civilian deaths a terrorist attack is just stupid. terrorism involves the deliberate targeting of civilians to spread terror and fear to achieve aims. The US focuses on what can be seen as legitimate military targets in most cases. Most of their actions are not in any way terrorism

Quite simply they are trying to extend civilization around the world while barbaric Islamic extremists are trying to destroy civilization.

Collateral damage of a warzone. Unfortunate but its the reality of war.

Boston is not a warzone.

Aslong as its not their citizens getting, they don't give a hoot. I think they kill something like 10 civilians for every 1 militant in their drone attacks?
Btw love the way you take negging so seriously to actually go hunt down my last post to neg it, bit funny that you got so butt hurt.

They die, so its ok because its a "reality of war", when some guy (assuming a Muslim did the boston thing) retaliates in kind, its suddenly not ok.

I mean they are both equally wrong and unjustifiable but strange how one seems more ok to you then the other.

Its all about who/what the target is.

Militant Islamists or innocent runners.

Wonder why they do follow up attacks? http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2012/aug/20/us-drones-strikes-target-rescuers-pakistan

Hamas uses this tactic apparently, the USA does it aswell. If Hamas is a terrorist group, what is the USA? Pretty sure innocent rescuers are in the same field as innocent runners.
