Yep resiting the last one. As it was 144 for an A* and I got 145. So there's room for improvement. But I'm still doing further maths as well so it'll be difficult.

What do you guys think about remarks? It assumes that the paper wasn't marked properly the first time round and well....

I hate how people assume just because they were close to a boundary it must have been marked wrong...

By all means try and get it remarked but it's not a guarantee...

Exactly. Also if that person can get theirs remarked because they were one off, why can people who were 6 or 7 off get it remarked too? It could help them in terms of balancing out CA marks. It's stupid and undermines examiners. Then theres the whole "exam boards love money so paying for a remark gets you those few marks" theory.

I've never gotten a remark, even if I believed it to be wrong.

Although subjective subjects are annoying... Because people do lose marks sometimes

Haha so you think examiners marked you wrong? :P

Yeaah thats true, but maths/sciences and the likes shouldn't have remarks.

English reading paper yes. How do I get a C for analysis on writing when I got an A at AS for analysis sources in history?

:yep:

Like you said, subjective subjects

Critical Thinking is an odd one, it's sort of both science and art.
