Coursework + Exam split makes it fair. Plus it's still majority exam, I mean 75%!!!

Plus, it evaluates skill in a different way, only downside is cheating:/

60% coursework is too much for Spanish though.

Not really, writing and speaking are the most important really...

So if they assessed writing within exams then fine, but itd end up worse than your coursework generally

which C/A did you guys do??

we did the fermenting sugar thing one,,, where you had too look at the rate of reaction...or was that bio?

have you guys done the specimen papers yet??

im personally waiting till the holidays

Biology: Fermentation of Glucose
Chemistry: Thermal Runaway Reactions
Physics: Energy of Rollercoasters

yeah i did them

for the physics one did you use any M1 concepts... i remember writing about UR and the angke of the roller coasters curve..lol

For Bio I did one to do with starch and got an E, on my retake I did fermentation. Chemistry was thermal runaway and retake was fertilisers. Physics was about specific heat capacity. I have barely revised yet so can't do the specimen papers yet.

Chemistry I think I've covered basically... But not revised

no... as a fairly sure guess im thinking about 63 =A*
with 75 = 160 ums

i read from the examination report for physics last year that barely anybody got more than 65/75

With 137 on the 1st exam and 34 in coursework what do I need to be aiming for to get an A*?
