I do GCSE sociology! Ask me anything! Haha Sociology basically looks at society and asks questions about why things are the way they are... Tbh I can't define it but things like:
- Family - roles in the family - why?
- education - why do certain groups underachieve?
- crime and deviance - who is a criminal? Why do we abide by the law?
- social inequalities - ethnic/age/class and gender inequalities in society.

You also look at Marxist/fuctionalist/pluralist and other approaches to sociology...
