I don't know whether somebody was putting eggs down at the same time, or the game was glitching, but eggs kept appearing all over the place, on top of houses and trees and everywhere But if you click off the town and then back on they're gone. The same thing has happened to me a few times when i've been putting down large amounts of eggs.

I got all 300 down though eventually
