Mnemonics - The Good, The Bad, & The Downright Dirty!

So most of us are well into the revision zone by now - but what helps you revise?I find mnemonics are a great way to remember a list, or order of something - and the funnier the better!

For example:
The Nitration Of Benzene
Have Sex On Hob Nobs! Ohh lala! = HSO HNO = H2SO4 HNO3
C6H6 + HNO3 --> (H2SO4) --> C6H5NO2

Diva King Pulls Cock so Obvious Fails at Gay Sex
= DKPCOFGSD
Domain / K = Kingdom / P = Phylum / C = Class
O = Order / F = Family / G = Genus / S = Species

Mnemonics suck, I want the information I have learnt to be available on demand! I don't want to have to jump through a dozen hoops to get it!

There's the standard rude one for memorising the 12 Cranial Nerves, for anyone doing neuroanatomy or the like.

Oh, Oh, Oh, To Touch And Feel (a) Virgin Girl's Vagina, Ah, Heaven!

I - Olfactory, II - Optic, III - Oculomotor, IV-Trochlear, V-Trigeminal, VI-Abducens, VII-Facial, VIII-Vestibulocochlear, IX-Glossopharyngeal, X-Vagus, XI-Accessory, XII-Hypoglossal

Doesn't help with their site of innervation/where they leave the skull, but it's a step in the right direction. :wink:

agent, patient, experiencer, goal, benefactive, source, instrument, locative, proposition.

And this one is for the seven types of pronoun:
