New Right oppose social policies because they think the family should have little state interference and it leads to family diversity and lone parent families right?
Functionalists are in favour of social policies such as the NHS as it helps the family with primary socialisation etc....
Feminists oppose state policies - legitimises oppression to woman....

Yes haha! See it's so easy 😂
Let's boss this!!!
(btw this is a bit of a plead but "sophtommo" on instagram and @ellensoph on twitter)

Family diversity has come up twice in a row hasn't it?

I'm skim reading my childhood notes just so I have it in my short term memory

I would love couples to come up!!!!!
I pray to god childhood doesn't come up.....
I know nothing!
Haven't had any sleep yet worrying about this exam, but I'm completely wide awake... I haven't studied yet, either, though... Should I get a little rest in case I crash, or keep studying in case I can at least get an E or a D or something?

Also, anyone got a little runthrough of the various viewpoints (Marxist, etc.) and what views they represent? Particularly about families...

Thank you all for your time.
Eugh. This is so stressful. I just know I'm going to fail again.

So it is right that people are predicting either couples, childhood or demography will topics for the 24 markers?

It seems so. I've revised changing family patterns too to cover one more base but not touched social policy, functions of the family or family diversity AT all.

Yep
For couples, are people talking about divorce/marriage/cohabitation/same-sex etc?
(i feel stupid)

I'm so stressed  There's so much stuff to revise and nothing seems to be going in my head.

Since childhood came up on the June 2012 paper do you think the chances of it coming up again are slim? I really hate childhood! :frown:

I have a gut feeling childhood will be one of the essays :/
