I got my ordering of the questions wrong by 1... Help D:

So I did one of my higher exams, and I didn't notice part of a question, so I continued on labelling my answers as if that one wasn't there. That means that the labelling of the subsequent questions was wrong by a letter (ie. I labbeled f as e, g as f, etc.) The SQA marker should notice but will I be penalised? Will I lose all the marks for the questions I labelled incorrectly?

Any help would be really appreciated :smile:

No you shouldn't be penalised at all! They will notice if your answers aren't linking up to the questions, my maths teacher tells me if you are getting a lot of the multiple choice wrong in a row they will check your working to make sure you haven't missed a box or anything!

I suspected it was you! Well, I'm sure you'll have done well anyway, as surely the markers take into account the time pressure, etc and will recognise that it was just a mistake. Now, I really ought to go back to revising history... :colone:
